Middle Managers Training Program

April 2015, a major milestone in my career when I got the opportunity to attend the Middle Managers Training Program. The program was organized by NRSP Microfinance Bank at its state-of-the-art training center and the training was conducted by experts from the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBF). It was not only an honor for me to be nominated for this program by my manager but also a sign of the trust the institution had in me.

This two-week training was specially designed for the middle managers of NRSP Bank, with the aim of strengthening their leadership and management skills. The program offered the best blend of theory and practical activities. Group activities, presentations and discussions made the learning process more interesting and effective.

Some of the key lessons learned from this training program were:

  • Team Leadership – Understanding how to inspire a team and lead by example.
  • Problem Solving – How to analyze challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Compliance Awareness – The importance of aligning every decision with banking laws and policies.
  • People Management – The ability to build good relationships and an environment of trust with people of different temperaments.
  • Change Management – Embracing change in a positive way and leading the team through the process.

Out of all these, the presentations were the ones I enjoyed the most. Standing up in front of my peers and giving my speech and getting immediate feedback was a great experience for me. It not only boosted my confidence but also gave me an opportunity to learn from the ideas of others.

The training environment was also very professional. The trainers at NIBAF prepared each session very well and promoted open dialogue. Group activities helped me build relationships with colleagues from different branches and departments, which later became part of my professional network.

Receiving the certificate at the closing ceremony was a proud moment for me. This certificate was not just a piece of paper, but a symbol of new responsibility and confidence. I did not return from there with just a certificate, but with a newfound courage and determination to implement these lessons in my professional life.

This program was not just a training but a turning point. It convinced me that success and growth are always in learning, accepting challenges, and sharing knowledge with others. This experience remains a valuable asset in my professional life today.
